Bob, your (The Blues) third single will be released next week, what can you tell us about it?
– “Before you know it” is a catchy song in true TB style. The lyrics are about that you should do what’s really important to you and don’t wait or hesitate. Which is easier said than done….
”It won’t be long” did we try in different versions. But it really came into its own as a stripped down ballad. Especially with Mats Wikström’s trumpet playing.
I see I see, and what about future plans (musically), do you have any, do you need any?
– Right now our plan is to release our debut album. We are in the process of writing songs for it at the moment. We are going to Berlin to record some of it with Boris Wilsdorf. Hopefully it will be ready early next year. After that we will concentrate on putting a really good live act together.
Good to hear. Last, and once in for all, can you please tell us what The Blues is all about?
– I would say that The Blues, and the music we make, is about solace and exitement. To ourselves and anybody who will listen.
