Emma Soldat comes from Västerbotten (the northern parts of Sweden), lives and works in a cottage on a family farm in Vilhelmina. In recent years she has written poetry but is now making her debut with her song “Flickan in Grönt” (“The Girl in Green” in english). The song itself is a clear flirtation with pop music from the 50’s and 60’s. Like songs she heard grandma and grandpa play every day on their gramophone
