Örebro’s finest synth-pop duo is back with another little masterpiece, “Everlasting”. With this fine and very atmospheric song, Lake Omne continues on their beaten path towards the promised synth-pop land.
It sounds modern, but you can still understand that the band has a strong preference for the powerful and stylish that existed during the heyday of synthpop. In general, we notice that more and more artists allow themselves to be inspired by this genre and there are many who appreciate Lake Omne’s songs. This particular song, “Everlasting”, is about what you would do without your loved one. Or as the band’s singer greets:
