Saga Eserstam’s second single, “Om en nyckel fanns”, under her own name, is also her first in Swedish. The song is written, recorded and produced by David Shutrick and Anders Pettersson.
“Om det fanns en nyckel” (If there was a key, in english) is a moving beautiful song that fits Saga Eserstam’s voice extremely well. The gentle and yet clear appeal of the song gives this melancholy melody a sense of hope and comfort. The song is about accepting the state of affairs. That sometimes, we do not need to wish for more than what we already have, instead feel grateful for what we received.
With this song, Saga’s duo has also been expanded to a trio, as Anders was invited to the collaboration.
By the way, Saga and Anders Pettersson last worked together in 2003, in Skellefteå. Since then, Anders has settled in Stockholm and worked with an incredible number of artists: Darin, Melissa Horn, Anna Bergendal, Helen Sjöholm, Sonja Aldén, Lykke Li, Uno Svenningsson just to name a few.
David and Anders have also worked together in the band Selfish.
