The trio Höga Berget from Örebro started by writing tribute songs to the sports clubs ÖHK and ÖSK, which were released under the name of singer Alexander Nätterlund. When these songs were appreciated by many and achieved great success among the team’s supporters, they received a request to make a song for the SM (Swedish Championship) winter week in 2015, which resulted in the song “Under blåa bergens kant”. With that also the ambition to let this be the start of a new band, which hence the name Höga Berget. With their second single “Hisingen sunset” they wanted to step out of the sports genre and make songs about other things in life. Now several years later, however, we hear from independent sources that this song also figures in various playlists with tribute songs to BK Häcken. It’s almost laughable – the band won’t come out of it!
But damn the one who surrenders. Because here and now we’re releasing their new and wonderful “Staden har vingar (The city has wings)”, a song with clear feelings of freedom and summer. With that said, please listen.
