The Örebro duo Lake Omne is back with another languorous, fine-tuned, synthpop gem. It’s the second time that the boys co-write together with Joakim Styrén (Ace of Base, Uno Sveningsson and others).
“Julia” is, by the way, about dreaming away, disappearing from all the musts, just leaving.
Or as the band themselves say:
- “This is a song about escaping reality for a while. A song about letting go and just heading for unknown ground with a friend or two. A tribute to all the Roadtrip songs you have heard over the years.”
Previous songs by Lake Omne have appeared frequently on various playlists, including rotation on P4 Swedish National Radio. Hopefully this new one will get at least the same attention.
