Melancholy, romanticism and nostalgia. Three words that defines the foundation of Väärts electronic pop music. The band was initiated in the mining town of Gällivare in Swedish Lapland by Johan and Pär. After 10 years, they met Frida and Love. From this point Väärts soundscape emerged into an entirety. The lyrics reflect the band’s relationship to their homestead. The music has been described as a journey to the North, as a longing for something that no longer exists.
